For sale is a 1984 Mercedes 300D Turbo Diesel. This car has had one owner, my mother-in-law, for whom I am selling the car. It is very clean and all original with 167,154 miles. This car has been garaged in a climate controlled garage for its entire life. The car runs well. Power windows, AC. The interior is clean with one blemish on the rear seat. There are three small cracks in the front dash. Body has original paint, slightly faded. There are several dings in the passenger side rear door. One small dent above the driver side rear light. Mechanically, everything seems pretty good. We fixed everything our mechanic identified as needing repair. I replaced the ball joints, front brakes, engine mounts, air filter mounts, and shifter bushings. It was aligned and given routine maintenance. This work was done by Jaime's Mercedes Shop in Manhattan. I have receipts. I also put on 4 new Pirelli tires. But, remember, this is a 26 year-old car that has not had a restoration. There are a couple small things that still need attention: antenna is broken off, the switch for the heater needs to be jiggled. Also, there are some small belmishes on the body.
