Up for auction is my son's Honda Civic that we purchased 3 years ago that has been an awsome and very reliable car. Since we have owned it, we have done improvements mechanically to keep this in tip-top running condition. I can't say enough good about how nice this car has been for maintenance of up-keep and reliability. Yes, the body is not in the best shape (better since we have had it). We got this car as a 'first' car for our son for reliability reason only. This was not purchased with any intentions to turn into a 'pretty' coupe. Its functions was to get our son from point 'A' to point 'B'. However, we were diligent in repairs as needed and my son was never abusive in his driving habits. Here are the GOOD and the BAD about this car as we know it: BAD things; - Passanger side front blinker dosen't work. The light works. The blinking part dosen't. - Driver side rear tail light cover is broke. Light works. (See photo) - Radio antena is NOT connected. - Cruise Control not working. - Body work needed. See PHOTOS! I took as many of the worst parts I could see of the body. Passanger side is the worst under door and where front side part meets the door. - This is not a cosmetic beauty with interier plastic parts. see photos. - Windshild 'washer' not working. - New wipper blades needed. - Rip in seam on driver seat. I couldn't get a photo of it. - Locks don't work in the winter. My son says they work fine in summer, just a lot of fussing to get them to unlock in the winter, so he doesn't use them. - We haven't used the Emergancy break....so don't expect it to work. - Main windshild has a few hairline cracks that go throughout most of the upper and side window. Been that way since we bought it. Hasn't gotten worse in 3 years. But very visable. - No front floor mats. - The plastice skirt that goes under the front part of the car is broken and pretty loose. Dosen't effect the function of the car though. Just cosmetic. (see photos) - Plastic base around ignition (base of steering wheel) is broken. (see photo) GOOD THINGS: - Power windows (careful how far you take the driver side window down. It slipped down and we had to take the door panel off to get it back up once.) - Moon roof works. - Newer single CD player that works. (New radio, but antena is not hooked up, so that part dosen't work until anena is put back together.) - SMOOTH RIDE!! - STARTS EVERY TIME IN THE COLDEST CONDITIONS! - VERY RELIABLE! - Tires have 5,000 miles on them. - Non SMOKING. NO Pets in this car. - Not much rust at all (see photos.) Feel free to email with any questions! There is no Buy it Now. Our intentions is to let this Auction run its course.
