Vehicle Detail
1968 Plymouth Barracuda - Original 318 V-8 with automatic transmission, power steering and power brakes. I have owned it for three years and I think I am the third owner. Was sold new in Salinas, CA and I bought it from owner in Stockton, CA. I had one just like it back in the late sixties and early seventies. The paint is fairly new and in very good condition. Also the interior upholstery was redone along with the carpet and headliner and look like new. The trunk was also carpeted. I see no rust or apparent cases of rust anywhwere. The tires are in excellent condition as are the Cragar Wheels. The underdash CD player is aftermarket as are the rear speakers. The indash AM radio is still in it but not hooked up. I just recently had the carburetor overhauled and adjusted for the altitude change and it runs great. It really is a nice looking car and I get a lot of attention when I take it out. It wouldn't take very much at all to make it a show car. There are some minor issues which I will try to cover: There is one wheel opening molding missing. The bumpers are both straight but showing some wear. The trim on the trunk lid has some dings(typical with this model). The dash ashtray is missing. The front armrests need replacing or recovering. Both interior front winshield pillar trim are cracked and need replacing. There is a small ding/indentation (about the size of a penny) on the fender below the gas cap (the paint is not cracked). Having started a new business I don't have the time or space to devote to this great vehicle. It's hard to cover all aspects, so if you have any questions, please ask. Thanks for looking and happy bidding!
