Any vehicle purchased from our dealership that is delivered in the State of California is subject to a California sales tax rate of 8.975% of the purchase price, which is to be paid in addition to the agreed upon purchase price.
Any vehicle purchased from our dealership that is delivered outside the State of California, (shipped by DOT registered common carrier) is not subject to California sales tax; providing that the purchaser does not reside within the State of California. There are no exceptions to this.
Vehicle Registration:
Any vehicle purchased from our dealership by a resident of California is subject to applicable California license and registration fees. These fees will be paid to our dealership in addition to the agreed upon purchase price.
Any vehicle purchased from our dealership by a non-resident of California is not subject to applicable California license and registration fees; providing that the purchaser does not reside within the State of California and drives the vehicle directly from the location of our dealership to the purchaser’s out of state residence. This process requires an $18.00 fee paid by the purchaser to the dealership for a California one-way trip permit. All non-resident purchasers are responsible for registering the vehicle in their state of residence and ensuring that they comply with all applicable state laws.
Example: Florida resident purchases a vehicle at auction and flies to our physical dealership in California to complete paperwork and accept possession of vehicle. This buyer is responsible not only for the California sales tax, but also $18 fee payable to the California DMV for a one way trip permit out of California in lieu of registration in the State of California. Buyer must drive directly out of the State of California toward their home state destination in order for the permit to remain valid; side trips, such as to a theme park or attraction may render permit invalid and the buyer may then be responsible for California sales tax and registration. Additionally, vehicle may be impounded until fees/taxes are paid.
If that same buyer instead, contracted for shipping on a common carrier, the buyer would NOT be responsible for California sales tax. In either case, buyer would be responsible for Florida taxes and registration fees.
Q: Are there any other fees?
A: The selling dealership will charge $55 for documentation fees. The selling dealership will also charge $125 for prep and detail. These charges are in addition to any other shipping, accessory, or buyer requested services.
Q: What is your bid acceptance policy?
A: We accept all bids, but reserve the right to cancel bids from buyers with significantly poor feedback. Multiple cancelled bids after meeting reserve may also result in that buyer’s bids being cancelled in future listings. Bidders who fail to pay for won auctions within terms specified in seller terms/conditions may be subject to bid cancellation in future listings.
Q: What is your auction cancellation policy?
A: While seller reserves the right to cancel auctions at any time they will generally run for the period listed unless a “buy it now” price button is hit, at which time the vehicle is sold to that buyer and the auction is ended. All vehicles listed are subject to prior sale and may be sold on the dealership’s physical lot at any time prior to meeting reserve.

Fee and Tax Information: California buyers are responsible for sales tax, title, and license if vehicle delivery takes place in the State of California. Out of State buyers are responsible for their own tax, title, and license fees. We do not collect or complete DMV paperwork from States outside of California.
Buyer pays all shipping fees, though we can arrange shipment and quote a firm price if desired. We will generally only ship within the United States, but are open to international shipments if the terms are agreeable and the purchase is fully funded.
Airport pickup is available at the Fresno Yosemite Airport (FAT) with 1 day advance notice of arrival information. Arrivals at other airports may be accomodated with further advance notice.
