2005 BMW F-Series

I found and purchased this bike for my father so he could ride with me. I sold my GS 1150 Adventure last year and he has done little to no ridding since then. He has asked that I help him sell this bike so someone else can enjoy it. The bike has been maintained by our local BMW motorcycle dealer. The service records will be furnished to the buyer. The bike has a brand new battery as well as front and rear tires. The bike has been garage kept since my father has owned it. Features of this cycle include ABS brakes and a center stand. The mileage is very low as it has been ridden less than 500 miles in the last two years. There are NO mechanical issues with this bike. There are two cosmetic issues to speak of (both shown in the photos). When replacing a rear brake-light bulb, my father overtightened one of the screws cracking the plastic mounting bracket, which he so elegantly temporarily "fixed" with duct-tape. The light works, the replacement lens ($67 at BMW) was never purchased. Secondly, my father went for a ride one day and forgot to secure the rear compartment door behind the seat. It fell off and was also not replaced. BMW sells this item for $89, I believe it was. Both of these issues are minor and can be quickly fixed after a visit to the dealer. The buyer will be out of pocket $160 to make the bike whole. This is a PayPal preferred sale, with proceeds going straight to my father. Cash sales welcome for local buyers.
