Here is a 1974 Dodge Dart Sport that has begun its tranformation to a 1971 Demon. 318 4 bbl automatic Bucket seat console car. PS, PB, A/C car. (A/c components are long gone) Fires right up, runs and idles great and shifts good. Not sure if its the numbers engine or trans. The car runs and drives good, but will need some work to be road worthy. As you can tell from the pictures, it already has a 71 Demon front clip that is in nice shape with no rust. The grill is perfect! I have not changed out the tail panel yet, But I do have a decent set of Demon taillights with the housings that come with the car. It does not have the dart tailights because I traded them for the Demon tailights. Also have a set of front marker lights and correct non remote side mirrors. Large bolt pattern rally wheels with the center caps and beauty rings. Has a new master cylinder and power brake booster. Front disc brakes and rear drums. The brakes stop the car well. Before I pulled the tailights out, all lights and signals worked. Even the dash lights. all the gauges work as well. The wiper motor runs but the wipers do not move. I haven't checked but I suspect the normal plastic bushing are gone. All the glass is good and the windows roll up and down good. Doors shut tight. The interior isn't trashed, but needs redone. The back seat is in great shape as well as the passenger seat. Rust issues are in the normal places. Lower rear quarters, trunk pan, and part of the passenger outer wheelhouse. The tail of the rear frame rails will need repaired. The floor pan seems pretty solid. I will add more pictures tomorrow of the rust areas tomorrow. I have a clear title in my name.
