This 1986 Monte Carlo Sport Coupe has had only one elderly owner and travelled only 22,107 miles from new. When we found the car is was stored in an enclosed, carpeted carport that was open only on one side. It had carpet remnants covering the floormats and trunk and it was sitting on a large piece of heavy plastic sheeting to keep moisture from the bottom of the car. The owner was fanatical about servicing the car and his hand written records indicate oil changes at roughly every 2,000 miles. According to the deceased owners widow, no one was allowed to drive the car, including her! It was apparently only used for the occaisional, leisurely Sunday drive or weekend pleasure trip. This unbelievable, time warp car, runs & drives like new. It is super solid, tight & right! The interior is truly like new with no rips or tears in the upholstery, no cracks in the dash, or wear on the switchgear. The trunk looks absolutely new. The car sports a lot of optional equipment like the 305 V-8, AC, power windows & locks, top of the line (for '86) sound system, dual remote control mirrors, remote trunk release, two tone paint, wire wheel covers, rear defroster & lots more. It also has the CL (Custom Luxury) trim package. Included in the sale are all the original warranty information, owners manual, service records, etc. As for the demerits: The rear of the car was exposed to the sun and the paint on the rear edge of the trunk lid is dry & cracked and the headliner droops a little on the drivers' side. There is also a little mouse damage to the hood insulation and a few cobwebs here and there. We've looked the car over and find NO rust anywhere and no evidence of accident damage. We can't even find a parking lot ding! The body is super straight & solid. This is truly a "No Disappointments" car! She's just been serviced and is 100% ready to go! Here is a great find for all lovers of original vehicles. This 1986 Monte Carlo Sport Coupe has had only one elderly owner and travelled only 22,107 miles from new. When we found the car is was stored in an enclosed, carpeted carport that was open only on one side. It had carpet remnants covering the floormats and trunk and it was sitting on a large piece of heavy plastic sheeting to keep moisture from the bottom of the car.

The owner was fanatical about servicing the car and his hand written records indicate oil changes at roughly every 2,000 miles. According to the deceased owners widow, no one was allowed to drive the car, including her! It was apparently only used for the occaisional, leisurely Sunday drive or weekend pleasure trip.

This unbelievable, time warp car, runs & drives like new. It is super solid, tight & right! The interior is truly like new with no rips or tears in the upholstery, no cracks in the dash, or wear on the switchgear. The trunk looks absolutely new.

The car sports a lot of optional equipment like the 305 V-8, AC, power windows & locks, top of the line (for '86) sound system, dual remote control mirrors, remote trunk release, two tone paint, wire wheel covers, rear defroster & lots more. It also has the CL (Custom Luxury) trim package.

As for the demerits: The rear of the car was exposed to the sun and the paint on the rear edge of the trunk lid is dry & cracked and the headliner droops a little on the drivers' side. There is also a little mouse damage to the hood insulation and a few cobwebs here and there.

Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end to make payment arrangements. We require a non-refundable deposit of 10% through PayPal within 48 hours of auction end. Full payment is due no later than 7 days of auction end.

Buyer is responsible for shipping and all related charges, damages or disputes between buyer & shipper. We will do our best to be available at convenient times for vehicle pick-up. We encourage inspection of all vehicles and will work with you/your inspector to make vehicle available for inspections.

All financial & paperwork transactions must be completed before vehicles will be released.
