Vehicle Detail
Partially restored Authentic 1967 Plymouth GTX, with original 440 Engine, which was removed from the car, then reinstalled with a modified Edelbrock Aluminum Intake Manfold, with an added 800 CFM Holley Dual Feed Carburetor, with Changed Air Cleaner. (The Original Intake Manifold, Carburetor, and Dual Snorkel Air Cleaner dated 1/24/67, go with the car, along with extra Trim, Tail Light Bezels, Lens, Center Console with Tach, Gas Cap Covers, and some extra misc. parts) Only the Driveline, has been updated, with the Engine Rebuilt, Hedman Exhaust Headers, and Aluminum Dual Exhaust, and other Engine and Suspension Components. The car has always been in California, and Arizona. The car has been in Arizona, since 2006, which has dried the Interior, and Faded the Exterior Paint, which will need to be redone. The car also has new B.F.Goodrich White Letter Tires, with stock Plymouth Hub Caps, and Steel Wheels. The Brakes and Transmission were also gone through, and the car drives excellent, with a lot of power. Only prior body damage seems to be in the Driver's Side rear quarter panel, but not bad, when looking inside the trunk, at the inside of the fender. (Prior work was done poorly, and paint is now faded, and looks worse) The car will need Paint, some minor body work on Driver's Side Rear Quarter, and the Interior Replaced. The headliner still looks pretty good, but the Factory Installed Bucket Seats, and Rear Seat, will need to be recovered, along with replacing the Door Panels, etc. The dash looks good, but has one crack in the center. All the gauges work, but the radio does not seem to play, and the clock, will need to be reconditioned. All glass is excellent, with no cracks. No rust through anywhere in car, with factory undercoating still on car. The car has a very Low Reserve, because of the remaining work that the car needs, as mentioned above. So please, don't think that it is a Fully Restored Car. Some prior buyers expected a New Car, for very little money that they paid, and did not read the Auction Details. So, please read the above information completely. I am going to let the Auction go to the end, so please don't ask for the Buy It Now, or buy outside Ebay. Please ask as many questions as you need, so there are no surprises. ThanksOn Jan-10-11 at 15:53:11 PST, seller added the following information: I have just added some pictures for those who Emailed me, with some of the items they wanted to see. The first picture is the Original 440 Engine which was Chrysler Blue, repainted to Orange, and rebuilt to 375 HP. (If you want to take it to California to pass Emissions, it will probably not pass, for those who asked that question) The other pictures are of the interior, and trunk. Notice the one picture on inside trunk, where repair was done in the past, on the Driver's Side. The front Bucket Seats are White like the rest of the interior, but are covered so I can drive the car. They are cracked, and will need replacing, as I mentioned in prior description. If you need any other pictures, just let me know. Because of prior Feedback, I am trying to describe the car the best I can, but remember, this is not a Fully Restored Car, and is priced accordingly, like prior auctions, but it needs to be read, and understood by the potential buyer. The car is sold AS IS. ThanksOn Jan-13-11 at 16:05:20 PST, seller added the following information: 440 is Stamped on Front of Engine Block, right of the Distributor. No other damage on car, except the Driver's Side Rear, as mentioned a couple of times above. (Easy to Repair) Again, this car is not Fully Restored, and is Priced Accordingly. This is Not a Show Car! (Several people keep asking if the car needs any work. Please read the description, and look, at pictures) Thanks
