Vehicle Detail

Let me start out with the reason for letting this little gem out of the stable. I like older British classics. A close friend convinced me to buy this car and said I would like it. Well he was right I do like it but it is not of British heritage so after a little use it is time to move it on to a new home. This being said I would consider trades for older English of similar value. Triumph TR3, TR4, TR 250, MGA, MGB, AH 104, 106, TVR, Cooper S, Elan, Europa, etc. By the way I have decided to make this a NO RESERVE AUCTION high bidder gets it. This listing would not take the vin that is on the title, I put in a photo of the # on the chasis Now about the Porsche. This is a steel wide body with no rust and no evidence of accident repair. It appears to have an upgraded suspension, including a torque tube across the front towers. shocks, steering and all suspension components are in good shape.I have put new brakes all around with in the last thousand miles.New high speed tires all around with in the last thousand miles. The engine is the 30.csi and runs very well. I have found no evidence of leaks and it has not used any oil since I have owned it. It could stand a good cleaning though. It has a stainless steel dual exhuast that has a nice throaty sound. It has the 5 speed trans that shifts fine and the clutch works fine also. . I put a new battery in it just before I put the car in storage, all electrical stuff was working when it went into storage. The interior is fine with no rips or tears in the seats or doors or dash. It has a leather MOMO steering wheel. and a Sony AM/FM CD player The color is a rare Baltic Blue. During the day it looks blue at night it looks grey. Now the bad, lets face all used cars have a bad side. The Florida sun has finally won out over the durability of the paint. The clear coat is going away on the roof and bonnet, see pics. The car should be resprayed. One month before I put it in storage the odometer stopped working. I reset it after fueling up and it never worked again . Add about 400 miles to what it reads. This is a fine dependable daily driver as is and with paint would be a very respectable car. The car is sold as is where is , the buyer is responsible for shipping, over seas bidders are welcome. I can deliver to the nearest port for the cost of fuel. On Jan-08-11 at 07:25:48 PST, seller added the following information: Since I posted this car I have been able to sort out the problem of ebay not accepting the vin number. The vin number in the listing is correct and matches the title and the plate on the car. I do have a clean clear title in my hands. The pic of the other number is the chassis number used for production purposes.I hope this answers the questions about the numbers. Thank you for your patience.
