selling my 1977 Saab 99GL vintage rally look!! car spent its whole life on the west coast, mainly in portland oregon and has very little rust.. it is a four speed manual transmission and has about 150k on the odometer (odometer stopped working at 134k miles a couple years ago).. the only area or rust is below the bumper on the right front air dam. there is a golf ball sized rust area, there is some bubbling along the top of the windshield, there is bubbling on the door frame (drivers side at top) this is covered by door when it is closed.. all easily repaired.. the undercarriage of this car is mint condition.. i drove it from portland, oregon to boston, ma last year in four days with no mechanical issues at all!!! here is the recent work done on the car! four new refurbished minilite wheels, four new continental tires, new fuel injectors, new thermostat, new plugs, new points, full tune up, new fuel accumulator, headliner was redone, newer radio with mp3 player adapter, new brake pads front and rear... etc etc i'm sure there is more that i'm forgetting.. the car runs and drives great.. it is currently stored for the winter the bad... heat is inop.. no blower fan though heat does trickle through.. the heater fan resistor was removed by previous owner so it may only need that (could also need a blower motor but unsure). the windshield is pitted (the car passed state inspection no problem but can get annoying looking through it) and the minor rust noted above.. the car was repainted in the early 90's in it's original solar red and the seats where reupholstered with non factory trim. i bought the car from the previous owner who's mother bought the car new in 1977 and i have a large collection of receipts and repair bills from oregon!! car currently sports the 3m vinyl rally graphics but can easily be removed is so inclined. includes a custom fit car cover from state of nines (saab store) first to see this car will buy it.. it's a great daily driver classic!!!!
