You are bidding on a 1984 Rabbit GTI in a rare color combination. Only a hand full of red gti's were sold in the U.S. with blue interior. I have the original window sticker that goes with the car that proves the authenticity of this color combo. This is one of the cleanest non-restored GTI's that you will find. The car has original paint and is in pretty good condition to be 27 years old. The interior is in excellent condition. With only minor wear. The car is mostly original but does have a few tasteful mods including, A Neuspeed short shift kit, ABD Racing big bore intake, Audi 5000 throttle body, G grind cam, dual outlet manifold, tt tuning race down pipe, tt tuning exhaust, quaife limited slip diff, Neuspeed strut braces front and rear, and koni adjustables on all fours. An oil pressure, oil temp, and voltage guage sits where the radio used to reside. The A/C has been cleanly deleted by the original owner. The car is in good running condition and was used as a daily driver until recently. Now I have 2 many cars "toys" and this one must go. There is one flaw on the car which can be seen in the photos. The rear valence was dented due to the original owner backing into a curb. the damage was very minor at the time and was not repaired. The area around the dent is now starting to rust. This however is the only rust on the car which again is exceptional for a 27 year old car. This is a no reserve auction. I have seen Gti's not as nice as this one sell for almost twice my buy it now price. A $500.00 deposit is expected within 48hrs of auction end, and full payment within 7 days. Thanks for looking.
