Vehicle Detail
I am relisting the van because the person that won the auction was new to Ebay with a 0 feedback rating and thought he could get a loan after he won the auction. They wanted us to send the title out to the bank so they could get it financed and have a check sent to us. Maybe they didn't know how Ebay works or could have been trying to pull a scam, either way the van is up for auction again! On the vehicle history report and on the title is says that in 2009 it was reported that the van had 102,000 miles. The reason for that is my aunt is the original owner and got divorced in 2009 and she got to keep the van and her husband got the other car and when she went to DMV to remove his name for the title they asked her what the mileage was and she got the van confused with their other car and told the lady at the desk that it had around 101,000 or 102,000 so thats what the DMV lady put down on the title. If you think about it, what are the odds that when she went to DMV and gave them the mileage it was 102,000 exactly so thats how I know it was a guess. She never went in and had it corrected after because she never intended on selling the van, but with the economy the way it is and now shes a single mom living on a teachers salary she just cant afford to hold on to it. The van has a 6 digit digital odometer as you can see in one of the pictures so 94,452 miles is the actual original miles on it. I really dont think its possible to roll back the miles on this type of odometer because from what I understand its controlled by the cars computer. We have no problem if someone wants to have the van inspected to verify the mileage or the condition of the van at anytime during the auction. What you are looking at is a single family owned VR6 model Volkswagen Winnebago Eurovan with automatic transmission and it has 94,452 Original miles on it. It has a Clean California title and its never been wrecked. We really hate to let our VW out of the family but for personal reasons its time to let it go. Its a full camper with a pop-top roof that can sleep upto four people but it has a removable center bench seat so it seats six people with seat belts. The camper has a stove, furnace, dash A/C & heater, holding tanks, LP gas detector, sink with water pump, rear water spray gun, 3 way fridge, 12 volt plug ins as well as a converter with 110 plug ins, closet, drawer, cupboards, cup holders, power windows, locks, steering & brakes and CD player. The van is in great shape inside & out, runs great, is currently registered and everything in the camper is in great working condition so it shouldn't be a problem for the winner to drive it home and have your first road trip in it. It really is in great shape except for a few minor imperfections. There are a few chips in the paint on the sliding door, I have included pictures of the with my finger pointing at one so you can see how small they are. There are 2 spots on the bumpers, one in the front and one in the back for which I have also included pictures. One of the window shades has a broken string that I'm not sure if you can replace the string or if you have to replace the shade. One of the hubcaps is missing. The little shocks for the cover over the sink and stove dont stay up on there own anymore but I dont think they should be very exspensive. The plastic strip on the rear hatch that holds the curtain on broke, its just a plastic piece of stripping that also shouldn't be very exspensive. There really isn't anything major wrong with the van at all. I personally think whoever wins the auction on this VW will be Very happy with it and should get to enjoy it and make a lot of happy memories with the family for years to come. I have included alot of pictures to try to show the condition as much as I could but I would be willing to take more pictures and email them upon request or would be even happier to show it to you in person if you make the drive out. You can call me on my cell at 408-313-2012 with any questions and the van can be seen at my home in Antioch, California. I require a $1,000.00 cash deposit through Paypal within 48 hours of auctions end and full payment within 7 days. This is a no reserve auction so the highest bidder will get it! Good Luck and Bid with Confidence!!
