1985 Honda Gold Wing

This is the fuel injected model so it's quite complex and I'm no mechanic. I bought it this summer from the original owner who parked it in 1997 because his wife passed away and he stopped riding. It only has 18,000 miles and I have the original manual, limited helmets with intercom, keys, tool kit, and even the tire pressure guage. I started to tinker with it but have lost interest. I hooked up a battery to it and everything turned on including the guages. I filled all the cylinders with Marvel Mystery Oil and let it set just to be sure. The electric fuel pump was not working so I bought an after market one that is supposed to have the same psi. I also hooked up an external gas tank because the one in the bike needs to be removed and cleaned because there is sludge and rust. It fired up and ran great the first time. It smoked like a chimney because of all the Marvel that drained into the exhaust. Now I can get about two full twists out of the throttle everytime it starts up and then it will just bog after that but still idle. It's almost like it builds enough fuel pressure when the key is in the on position but once it starts, it loses pressure. I also put a new fuel pressure regulator on it and it still does the same thing. I would say 1 out of about 30 starts it will run just fine and I have no idea why. I had it running and idling for about 45 minutes and the motor was very quiet with no ticks or knocks. The middle console is just sitting on it and not bolted because the last owner was going to remove the tank. The side vents also need the bolt put back in but I have everything for the bike. One front brake caliper was hanging up so I unbolted them both for moving purposes. Unfortunately he had a cover on it and it trapped moisture so there was rust on most of the chrome so expect that. You can see where I cleaned the exhaust pipe about halfway back and most of the rust came off with chrome cleaner. The paint and plastic is in beautiful condition. I did order nice used fuel injector covers, fuel pump cover, and foot brake lever. The engine paint is bubbling in some spots and the bike needs an overall good cleaning and someone who has experience on these bikes. It could be something simple or major, I just don't know. I figured that I would try and sell it now to clear out some garage space and give someone time to work on it this winter. It will need a new battery as well. This is being sold as is! So the new owner can decide if they want to keep them or not. The sizes are medium for the passenger, and large for the driver. Also, I forgot to mention that the last owner broke the lefthand mirror but the bolts and everything are included. I have also had several people ask if I would be willing to sell parts and I am only selling this bike as a whole. I realize that these bikes are farely rare so parts are hard to find, but I just don't have time to part it out. Also, I haven't started this for a couple months so it will be up to the new owner to tinker with it. I do have a clear title ready to go in my name.
