This car is a 1963 mecury comet custom 4 door , black outside red and white inside . Body is in extremely good condition has a small area on rear quater panel pass. side and hood seems to have been worked on has some ripples on the outside sufase but underside is in perfect shape. has all polised aluminum on car and is in good shape. has a hole in drivers floor a seen in picture carpet is original but dryrotted. head liner also original but is also dryrotting , as pictures show the rest of the interior is as , seats have rips front and back also original . door panels are in good shape has nornal wear for yaer . overall for the year the car is in very good condition for being all 100% factory original. Tires and rims have been changed to 15 in. aluminum but i have the originale rims and hub caps 13 in with new tires on them that go with the car. now the good part the drive train. the motor is the original mating numbers motor 260 V8 has been completly rebuilt top to bottom has roller rockers hyd. lifters eldenbrock alu. intake with a holey 600 4 bbl. carb. radiator has been rodded and flushed , i was told that the trans was gone thru at the same time but i dont know that for sure but its the original 2spd automatic matching # and works all gears perfectly , the brakes ,wheel seals ,wheel cyl. and master cyl are all new. the exhaust most of it has been replaced pipe and muffler are new. I put air shocks and sping suports to lift car for the 15 in. tires .Car runs and drives extremly well motor rebuild , brakes , muffler , trans all work on drivline was done about 2500 miles ago car is driven locally almost every day .
