Up for sale is a 1975 MG Midget chassis # GAN6UF160286G. The color is burgundy with a black interior. The fenders are rusty at the bottoms but there are no holes in the trunk, engine compartment or the floors. The top was replaced about 4 years ago and is in very good condition. The interior is decent with no rips or holes in the seats. The door panels need replace but the car comes with 2 brand new door panels that I never got around to installing. The 4 tires are like new with lots of tread left. The car was sitting for a long time from the previous owner so I had the fuel tank drained and cleaned, installed a new fuel pump and filter, new battery, rebuilt the carburetor, replaced the front brake calipers and brake lines, put on a new exhaust system and gave it a tune up, spent over $2,500.00 to get it road worthy. The car is in all original condition with no modifications, the smog pump is still connected! The car starts instantly and drives fine, and is allot of fun to cruse around in. It is not a show car but is OK to drive and not worry about stone chips. If the minor rust on the fenders were repaired and repainted it would be a great looking car. I would love to keep the car but a new baby is on the way and this is only a two seater! (told you it was allot of fun!) There is a reserve on the car way lower than the average retail of $4,000.00 but I fully intend to sell the car, reluctantly it has to go. I can arrange transport if needed.
