Vehicle Detail
I bought the car in 2008 and it had been previously stored in a barn for over 25 years. The previous owner dismantled the car and died. It has a good body but subjectively could use a new floor, and great doors, fenders, hood and trunk lid. You will be hard pressed to find better parts anywhere. The body parts were stored in a clean dry place, but unfortunately the body was left on a hay wagon in the barn, with the cows. It has some rust in the floors and is questionable whether to replace or patch. With the availability of reproduction parts it might make sense to replace with new. All body panels and frame have been Media Blasted by my company Strip Technologies. Title was mislabeled as a 4 dr. I have researched the VIN# and it matches the car. The county clerk just typed the title application wrong. www.striptechnologies.com Please note the list of new parts that will come with the car.’55 Chevy 150 DANCHUK: Front park/turn signal assembly Headlamp body to bucket gasket Hood anti-squeak gasket set Hood bird Grill Windshield gasket seal Rear glass gasket seal Window channel seals Fender to inner wheelhouse seal Door seals Scuff plates Back-up lens Trunk seal GM: Front fender “Chevrolet” emblem Disc brakes, rotors & calipers HEIDTS: Upper tubular control arms Lower tubular control arms Dropped 2” spindlesI had intentions of building a slick, pro-mod car, but business interest www.b-rodorcustom.com has forced the project to the side.
