Selling for Friend, This is a 1970 Volkswagen Beetle that has been partially restored. It has a 1600 dual port engine that has roughly 40,000 miles on it since it's rebuild. Yes it does leak a little Oil, Show me a VW that Doesn't and I'll show you one that isn't driven. The transmission Shifts Smooth, The car has had a Brake Job in the last year, All of the rubber around the Glasses are new. The floorpan is good as is the heater channels. The interior is in nice shape, the bottom rear seat needs recovered, the passenger sunvisor needs replaced, No cracks in the dashpad. Passenger side door panel has a speaker hole, Passenger seat has a small place in the top that is repairable. BODY: Overall a good body that has been primed with tinted primer with a touch of clear, This car does need paint and a Little bodywork, The primer was mixed to the color the car was going to be painted, to show any and every small flaw. Front Apron needs worked or replaced, Car was in an accident at one time and it needs worked, The front fender was replaced, there was no damage to anything other than the fender and apron. Front Bumper is a little wavy, driver door has a small dent, driver rear fender has a small ding and a hole around the rear bumper brace that needs patched, Hood has a couple of places, Bottom passenger door has a few surface rust spots that have been sanded. DRIVING: Good driving little Beetle, Runs good shifts good and stops good. Lights and brake lights, blinkers work, tailights have a short that needs fixed. Radio works, but is nothing special. Has an aftermarket Sunroof. Does not leak to my knowledge. Tires have good tread but are a little dry, Spare is missing. Shocks seem good. This Car was an everyday driver up until about 3 weeks ago when a new truck was purchased. If you have any additional questions about the car please do not hesitate to ask prior to the auction ending. There is no title because Georgia is a non-title state on pre 1985 vehicles, HOWEVER Car comes with a current Georgia registration and a Legal Georgia Bill of Sale which may be used in your State to obtain a Title, Double check with your local MVR prior to bidding.
