You are looking at a 1987 Dodge W150 4WD. I've had this truck since 2005. It's been good for me, but needed an extended cab because of a growing family. The 4WD gets used occasionally in mud and ice and works fine. The engine is a 318 (5.2L) with a 2 barrel carb. Engine runs fine once it warms up, (it has the typical cold engine carburetor hesitation) and leaks some oil. The transmission leaks fluid, and if the truck has been sitting for days, when you put it in gear, it will take about 10 seconds for it to start pulling. Once it starts pulling, it shifts fine until it sits for days again. The factory A/C does not work. It cycled a lot 5 years ago and then stopped altogether. I never bothered to get it fixed. The radio is not original and not very good, but it works, tape player doesn't. The frame is in excellent shape for its age, the floors are solid, but the roof is extremely rusty due to bad paint. There is also rust on the drivers door (see pictures) from bad paint. The clear coat is peeling off, and the base coat is fading. The rest of the body is in good shape. Over all, the truck looks fine for its age. This truck will need some work replacing hoses, belts, and a tune-up, but has never let me down. I only drive it about once every 2-weeks on a 65 mile round trip. It pulls my trailer fine, and has an electric trailer brake controller. I've put about 15000 miles on this truck.
