WE NEED THIS GONE FROM STORAGE ASAP! 2006 Mercedes sl500 retractable hardtop convertible. This is known as the R230 body style. This car is an insurance auction car , which was then purchased by a body shop to use for parts needed to repair a customer car. What we are left with is still a VERY COMPLETE car that has many many expensive Mercedes parts for you to use! The engine, transmission and entire car has only approx 30,000 miles (there is no way to check the digital odometer to get an exact reading). As you can see it is Missing the front end, left front suspension, interior console etc. The front end and left front suspension was professionally removed by the body shop to use on the customer car. No side or rear body damage. The trunk and doors etc all open and close smoothly. What you see is What you get. Sorry for the poor photos, it was the best I could do in a dusty body shop. The interior and exterior is NOT faded or damaged. The spots you see on the interior and exterior pictures is dust from the body shop, and the parts still look like NEW when wiped clean. The car has been stored indoors and kept dry. This is a VERY COMPLETE car with a ton of expensive parts still in great shape. EBAY system does not recognize the VIN. Take a look at sl500/R230 parts on Ebay and you will see just the drivetrain and interior alone are worth BIG BUCKS, much more than my BUY IT NOW price. Not to mention the body panels which are in great shape. Glass rear window is in a box. Left front caliper, rotor and ABC strut are still there in a box. So all 4 ABC struts and all 4 calipers/rotors are ready for your use! The 2 rear wheels pictured are not included and will be replaced with spares for moving/towing purposes. YES you need a tow truck and NO you cannot drive it, please dont ask silly questions like that! I do not know whether it has been classified as salvage, rebuilt/rebuildable, unrebuildable, reconstructed, scrapped/destroyed, junk, lemon, manufacturer buyback, or other classification.
