Condition: This car is a relatively rare 1991 BMW 325ix ALL WHEEL DRIVE. The Good: It starts right up every single time and i have been using it as a daily driver in the past several months. It hasn't given me any issues to date after a few thousand miles. It has a recently installed brand new Bosch starter as well as new control arms in the front and a new left CV joint/boot. Oil has been changed every 3k miles. The engine is strong and runs very well. The car gets a solid 23mpg in combined driving (not bad for its age). Air conditioning blows ICE cold. Heat could melt a glacier. The Sunroof works and works well. Transmission is very strong and has no slipping or grinding. Apparently according to the prior owner the trans has been rebuilt but i cannot verify that with records. Recently had the exhaust re-welded because of an exhaust leak so thats all good. It is good in the winter !!!ALL WHEEL DRIVE!!!!. Running/headlights work. No engine ticks (besides the usual bmw valve lifter noise. defroster works. Radio is an updated head unit with CD player. !!BRAND NEW TIRES ON ALL FOUR CORNERS!! STRUT TOWERS HAVE NO RUST. Car has ALL DOOR HANDLES and trim pieces. Car comes with a new intake manifold and valve cover. 4WD system is all in great working order. I realize people might be interested in this car in order to part it out for the differential/CV joints etc. the differential/transfer case is solid and in exceptional shape, transmission as well. The bad: The right outer CV boot is torn BUT the joint is not having any issues as far as any clicking or ticking. The car will come with a new inner and outer rubber CV boot, which is relatively easy to install (i did the left side myself in about 4 hours) i have been rubbing the joint down with grease every few hundred miles to preserve the bearings (haven't had the time to get the right side done). The rear electric windows do not work. Heated seats do not work. THe prior owner did smoke in the car (it has been steam cleaned and shampooed). The Drivers side rear wheel is out of balance from a ding...car has some vibration at 65miles per hour from this, which disappears when i put a spare on the car (look on ebay wheels for one of these are not expensive). The drivers rear door has a spot of rust, as well as the panel just under the door (area is structurally sound). There are some scattered specks of rust on the front as a result of rock chips.
