1998 TRIUMPH THUNDERBIRD – NO RESERVE, ORIGINAL & PRISTINE Original paint & chrome in exceptional condition. My local shop & I have gone through this bike systematically & it is in excellent mechanical & cosmetic condition. I am the third owner & bought it to refresh it & show it. It won first prize in the first show it entered. Clear title in hand. Maintenance in the last 9 months. Complete fluid change – oil, coolant, brake fluid, clutch fluid. New oil filter, air filter pod & spark plugs. Valve clearances adjusted. Front/rear drive sprockets changed (original gear ratios). New drive chain. New brake pads front/rear. Front brake rotor replaced with excellent quality used triumph part. Carbs stripped/cleaned /synchronized – new floats, o ring seals & gaskets. New rubber boots between carbs/head. New Metzeler tires /tubes. New Yuasa sealed battery & battery tender pig-tail. Cosmetics – all new Triumph parts unless stated. Dark smoke fly screen – National Cycle. Headlight wire guard - un-named.. Front fender extender. Louder horn - Fiamm. 3 gas tank rubber pads – 2 knee, 1 crotch. Brighter LED's fitted in instrument light console - Superbright. Chrome passenger grab rail. Original seat pan re-foamed with drivers gel insert. Original cover refurbished & refitted -Spencer. Tag light assembly – original cracked. Novelty license plate surround. 2 keys, owners handbook, workshop manual & 1998 sales brochure. Reason for sale - it's all done, it won the show & I need a new project!
