1970 Torino 351-4V Convertible. No Reserve Auction PLEASE SPEAK WITH YOUR SPOUSE AND LINE UP YOUR FUNDING PRIOR TO BIDDING This is a very special Torino that can be driven as is, but certainly worthy of a full restoration. This vehicle started out as a Ford executive car, hence the large number of options. Details of the options are included in the attached Marti report. This is a low miles car. The mechanicals have been addressed. It runs great and can be cosmetically restored as you wish. It is fun to drive around as is with the top down and gets plenty of thumbs-up where ever I go. The mechanical refresh included: - rebuilt front suspension - new leaf springs at back - new shocks all the way around - new Magnum 500's with BF Goodrich TA's - balanced driveshaft and alignment - new pertronix ignition - new Holley carb - original mufflers left intact, but needs new exhaust pipes run to rear Car has a few small exterior rust spots shown in the pictures, but overall it is a well preserved car with solid floorboards and undercarriage. The car spent a the majority of its life in a car collection in dry Utah before I brought it to dry Colorado, hence only a little rust. There are a couple of small bodywork areas on the front valence and left rear cap (I will include the replacement parts as part of the purchase). The paint has several touch-up areas. It was repainted once the original color, but not a very good paint job--looks good from 20 feet. Needs the convertible top and a left top bracket replaced (I have both the left and right replacement brackets and a new convertible top that I am including in the purchase.). Needs some interior work. The front seat has some rips on the driver side and the door panels have some rips on the bottom.. It also needs new carpet, although I am including the ginger floor mats in the sale, so it doesn't look bad. The power window motors need lubing or replacing (I have four new window motors that I am including in the purchase). I have a complete new interior that I will be auctioning off separately, but will give the car winner the first opportunity to purchase at 30% off Dearborn Classics retail price. It is not installed and does not have knobs - I am also including a nice K&N Filter that works very well with the open hood scoop - I am including a picture of the end cap and front valence that are in good shape to replace the dented pieces on the car. These are included in the sale. - The car does have a few minor dings in the decklid and fender. They are too small to show up well in pictures. The car also has some minor surface rust on the driver's side rear quarter panel. Again, this car is very solid and straight, but needs some minor body work and a paint job.
