1980 Lincoln Continental 2-door Town Car One owner car with only 39322 miles This limited production tan with vinyl top 1980 Lincoln Continental 2 door Town Coupe is a very solid, straight and good cruising car. This 2 door model was only manufactured for 2 years. I think it was the first Ford car in the 80's to have an aluminum hood and crank senor ignition system (only used 2 years). My mother ordered this car the fall of 1979 and it has been garage keep until this year. Car ordered with 302 V-8 motor and automatic overdrive 4 speed transmission. This car will get over 20 MPG on the highway. In November 2008 I replaced the gas tank and fuel pump, cost $1000.The exhaust system is not new but it still has the part number labels on it, it looks like new.I just replaced the battery, coil and crank senor in November 2010. The car now starts like it's new.The tires look new but are 10 years old. There are 4 small marks on the car. I tried to get the best picture of them that I could. A/C needs to be recharged. The tan interior is in very good condition, professional cleaning would make it look new again. The head liner needs to be glued up in some areas but is not torn. The suspension and chassis are solid. Very few of these 80 Town Car were made and they are hard to find. I'm sure that you will not be disappointed when you see this car in person.
