1985 Bertone X1/9. NON-RUNNING. FOR RESTORATION -or- PARTS. Comes with bill of sale. This car does not have a warranty. Vehicle is as-is condition/ No warranty is implied. This car will need to be towed home (mid-engine vehicle so rear wheels have to be lifted). Condition is POOR-FAIR. Purchased car in June 2010 and do not have the time to work on it. Car does not start. Paint is faded. Dent on right side. Small plastic scoop on left side is damaged. Windshield has a crack down the middle. The levers on the side of the door have been damaged. I have the keys. I have not been able to get the engine to turn over. Car has been sitting since 1992. Paint is faded. I have some paperwork on the vehicle. Old repair items. The vehicle is located at 3657 Country Oaks Loop Ontario, CA 91761 (I work 6 days a week and can help load the car on Sundays) Interior is okay but old. cracks on dash. no closing glove box. Paint is tu-tone black and tan with clear coat pealing and paint faded. Metal convertible top needs paint and interior replaced. Will have to replace the tires from 1990s. Will probably have to lower gas tank and drain old gas then try and start it. There is a little slip in the paperwork said it was non-op in 1997. When I checked online at the DMV no information came up in their system. You can check it using the vin# ZBBBS00A9F7154631 and/or the California Plate # 1RQK270. I honestly do not know why it wont start but I would guess first of all that it would be bad gas and/or gummed up injectors. Since I am unable to start it, I would assume that it might need alot more work to get it running. I have paperwork from 12/1996 that says clutch replaced, distributor cap/rotor and coil replaced, resurfaced the flywheel. Then the car appears to have been non-opped and not moved. On Dec-17-10 at 11:45:51 PST, seller added the following information: 12/17/2010 I added the photos of the damaged air scoop on the drivers side. I added a photo of the mileage 39,717 BUT I am not sure if it has been replaced, tampered with. I added a photo of the drivers side door area where the two pulls for the engine compartment and rear trunk. The two pull wires will probably need to be replaced.
