BMW 323CI Convertible 2000I bought this car two years ago and it has served me very well, I bought it from the first owner, he bought it from the BMW dealer "Claridges" in Fremont California and it has always been a Bay Area Northern California car. It had done about 90k miles when I got it and had been serviced all the way through by the previous owner, it appears that at one stage the dealer replaced the Auto transmission. A few weeks ago I was driving the car and the transmission went out, I can't afford to replace it as I am still at school, it is the ZF type. The tranny leaks fluid on the ground heavily. I had heard a noise in the bottom end of the motor and was told that it was the bottom end of the motor, so my father bought a used 323CI motor for me, turns out that it was a loose flywheel which eventually damaged the torque converter in the transmission. Father's pockets are now empty so it's for sale!!!!!!!!There are some dings and damage on the body, I have scraped the wheelarches and dented therear quarter forward of the rear wheelarch, all on the right hand side, there are also a couple of dents oin the top of the passenger door. The interior is very clean, I'm a non smoker as was the previous owner, the drivers seat is torn on the edge but could be repaired. The carpets and rest of the interior are otherwise clean and tidy, the soft top is in excellent shape but doesn't go down, I think its a fuse.I have fitted four of the later 17" alloys and they suit the car far better than the standard 16" wheels, I've also fitted Angel Eyes.You are more than welcome to come and take a look and inspect it, it's currently at the garage of a family friend and we can put it up on the rack for you.It has had no serious accidents, apart from the damage I have stated there is no damage to the inner structure, the AC works, so does everything else.Press the buy it now and I'll throw in a used 323CI motor that my father bought from one of the recycling yards in Sacramento Call me any reasonable time, I'm at school so if I don't answer please leave a message 925 413 0545 Sam
