1975 Mercedes 450 SL 31,000 Documented Mile Car From the Hollywood California Area This car is in excellent condition and was recently re-freshend to regain its beauty. Car was repainted to its original color,the paint on the car is beautiful, notice the reflection of the sky and landscape in the pictures. The car had no rust or body issues, the original paint was tarnished from the California heat and sun and deserved to be repainted. Also replaced was the soft-top, the original soft-top was replaced due to from being folded for so many years and never used, the top suffered. The top was replaced with the correct canvas material, Not a cheap nylon-plastic top. The hard top is included and is in the same great shape. All trim and interior including the seats and carpets are original and look good, only a minor crack on the center console that is a hairline crack. The tires are brand new, the wheels look good. The car operates and drives flawlessly. The transmission and engine oil was replaced including oil pan and transmission gaskets, they had dry-rot. The car had a complete inspection from engine to brakes and etc. The engine has the double timing chain installed which was a factory recall in the late 70's, engine runs strong and all mechanical and options function flawlessly. The door seals are original and show minor signs of "dry rot", I will not replace and are not hampering anything. The car seems to have all of its original body panels, the seems and doors have a very good tight fit. No signs of any body work or repairs. The original Tool Kit comes with the car and the original Owners and Maintenance Books come complete, the Service books show the history of the car. The car comes from a Hollywood estate. Car was driven very sparingly in the city, the original owners never took the car out of that area. The trim and chrome are in good shape, the bumpers show minor tarnish from the sun, the car retains an excellent appearance and still has the "Old Money" look.
