Vehicle Detail
1949 GMC 1/2 ton panel truck. A pretty straight truck, has a little rust in the floorboards and in lower rocker between door and rear fenders, nothing huge. Left side rocker is more torn than rust.Front fenders have a little bondo in them. It appears that the person that did the "body work" tried to fill the small dents with a whole can of bondo instead of a little goes along way method! The back side of the fenders you can feel the damage and they are very small dents. fenders are rust free. Rear fenders have dents and dings but are rust free,no bondo. Rear barn doors are dented, hinges are decent, glass is good. Roof and side panels are nice and smooth. doors are good, no rust, hinges are decent, glass is good. Hood is dent and rust free.Grill is chrome ,has a few very small dings, otherwise pretty nice. Front splash pan between grill and bumper has a few dents and is rust free. Interior, at some point the interior was wallpapered with newspaper articles and girly magazines from the 70s( bet those walls could tell a good story) Ive scraped most off them off.I think a good powerwash will take the rest off. There are no seats, wood on floor is solid. dash is good, not all hacked up. pass side front window is cracked, drivers side is good.Radiator is included ,just not attached as is the window garnish moldings. NO engine or transmission,no running boards, and NO TITLE. the Vin tag is attached and I will provide a bill of sale. All in all a pretty good candidate for a resto or rat rod but either way is WAY COOL!. any questions please call Jeff at 303-808-5463. Truck is located in Denver Colorado. A $500 nonrefundable deposit is due within 24 hours of auction end. Full payment is due within 7 days of auction ending either by a certified check or cash in person.Buyer is responsible for all costs involved in transporting truck . I will assist in any way I can. I would like the truck to be picked up within 10 days of auction ending but I realize at this time of year life is busy. Open communication is the key here. I can store the truck until January 1 2011. After that its $2 a day paid up front. On Dec-17-10 at 16:25:01 PST, seller added the following information: Ive been asked several times about the truck needing to be picked up by january 1st. I can hold the truck for a couple of weeks,or as long as needed to arrange transportation as long as we have communication as to a date. I put the storage fee on there for the people that cant seem to pickup the phone and communicate . Call and talk and then there is no storage fee. Thank you!
