Here we have an 84 Toyota 4Runner. The original color was white, it is now black undercoat. Here are the good points: You could drive this truck anywhere right now. It is a daily driver. It has new calipers and new brake pads installed last summer. It has a MSDS type ignition module, plugs, wires, cap and rotor. The carburetor could be tweaked, but it runs good. The gears where changed to 4.56 with a Detroit Locker in the rear. This is one of two years Toyota put a front straight axle in the 4Runner. Original springs were replaced with 2” lifted front springs and 2” rear helper springs. The frame ahead of the leaf springs in front of the rear tires is fine. The interior is in good shape for the age of the truck, no tears in any of the seats. The dash does not have any cracks with all the gauges working. It comes with a detachable face CD player, newer speakers in the doors with a power amp under seat. It has a custom rear bumper. The top comes off and on nicely. New timing chain, water and oil pump last summer. Also the battery is only two years old. Here are the bad points: The sunroof is cracked that has been sealed which does not leak. The passenger seat cable is broken, but has been modified to work the seat. The front carpet has been removed. The interior door panels around the speaker area are not very nice looking. The horn and e-brake do not work. Buyer is responsible for pick up, truck is located in Greeneville, TN. I will be traveling to Cedar Rapids, IA Christmas weekend and I can arrange drop-up along the way for a small delivery fee $.
