First off....no title. Sold with a bill of sale only. Titles can easily be obtained through your state. RARE 1971 Dodge Charger RT!! Rare color! Car looks rougher than it is. EASILY SAVEABLE! Car needs COMPLETE restoration!! First the bad: No motor or trans, missing the RT hood, missing the rally tail lights, missing front bumper and grilles, needs at least passengers side front fender replaced. Drivers side is saveable with a lower patch and a little rust repair up top. Drivers rear floor pan needs replaced. Drivers trunk extension has a small amount of rust. Trunk floor may need to be replaced? Both rear quarters are very solid, but both need lower repair behind the rear wheels, passengers side has a small dent in this same area, trunk lid is rusty and needs replaced, roof has rust in several spots. Rust behind rear bumper on the LH & RH sides where the drip rail runs off. Rust at the front bottom of the door seals on both sides. I'm sure there's more, but this is the brunt of it. The good: SWEET rust free RT doors (with the exception of the surface rust) with dual rally mirrors, rock solid southern frame rails, 150 MPH rally dash with tach and uncut faceplate, RARE AM/FM factory radio, bucket seats, console, all door panels are nice (drivers upper has a small split from the heat). Front sway bar. 8 3/4 rear end (non posi). 3 out of 4 fender lip trim is very nice, front disc brakes. This was a 440, 4 barrel, automatic, A/C car. Misc parts in the trunk. I'm sure there are things I've overlooked, and like any car needing restoration, you will find more issues during disassembly, sand blasting etc. Appears to be original paint on the car, so no hidden surprises. I will not give this car away! I know what the parts alone will bring. There is NO BUY-IT-NOW price on this car! Picture collectors please don't waste my time! This car is rare, the color makes it rarer and deserves a full blown restoration. Car can be stored out doors for a length of time to be determined at auctions end.
