1970 Amx Amx for sale. Prostreet Tubbed out rear end done right with Rimblow Steering Wheel. To start this is an original shadow mask car originally a green car with black mask but now a Nice dark Blue with lighter blue as the shadow mask. Paint and Body PERFECT!!!!! There are not too many amx's out there with BODY"S as Nice as this one...and under 12,000 original miles before turing it in to a prostreet and only about 200 miles since its been a prostreet. It started off originally as a 390 GO PAK 4 speed. (I have 4 speed tranny, and 390 for the car the 390 dual carb was built for racing modded pretty good but needs refreshed (The 390 and tranny with the dual carb set up come only with the buy it now). The MODS done to the current drive train are Chevy 355 bore 30 over balanced and blue printed engine under 200 miles on the rebuild, built for racing Turbo 400 reverse pattern shifter, custom drive shaft, Chevy 12 bolt with 4:56 gears and Real Center line Rims. I have part of the ram air system, nos Trim rings for the hood and a few other parts. Welded in Ladder bars. We also have a 150 SHOT NOS system plummed into the car and engine compart ment nos maniflod on under the car just needs to be wired to finsih it. Its fast enought with out the nitrous. Both Tranny and Engine have less than 200 miles on engine. (I would put on 1,000 miles before running the n.o.s.). I also just added stronger race coil springs to the front end and had alignment done and switched from biass ply tire to Mickey Thompson cheater slicks. car driven less than 1 mile since. This car is no where near stock, to me stock is NICE but I have the need for speed and power. And for those of you that like performace this car has alot of money into it. It drives better than it looks and sounds GREAT!!!. Grill is in great shape (dont find that too often). Engine compartment very very clean painted the same color blue as the shadow mask of the car so clean you could eat off it. Dont ask what I have into this car its more than I would like to mention. I have spent almost 1/2 million on cars in the last 5 years and to my wife its a sickness....I have too many cars and its become almost a full time job trying to keep up with them. I cant keep up any more. I also may be listing an all amc 1969 with a 671 blower, I have added a pic of it in this auction. I also might be listing a 1969 RARE Dodge coronet R/T Drag Pak special 4 speed.. If you do the buy it now price I will include the 390 and tranny and the 390 has a dual carb set up minus the carbs. I will be adding more pics later in the auction. In 1970 There were 4,116 AMX's This one . This car is rare!!!! car looks and drives right. Consider the small amount say compared to a 1969 Camaro total of 243,085 built in 1970 and who ever gets this is getting a great deal. The two middle amx's have been sold. I also had a question about the dual carb 390 engine (the engine and tranny only come with the car "non installed with the buy it now price") what is installed currently now in the 355 with the turbo 400. And yes the dual carb set up on the 390 is a STR11 CROSS-RAM that came offf one of the REAL S.S. amx's.
