Vehicle Detail
For sale is a 1967 VW Baja Bug with !!!NO RESERVE!!!. I purchased this bug about a year ago from a man that loves tinkering around with these cars but he is getting too old to mess with it anymore. So I took the car on as a project and soon realized that it takes more time than what I have to give to it! The odometer shows 74582 miles but has not works as long as I've had it, so I'm sure its rolled over and has a few more than what it shows! The back seat has been removed and a wood floor put in. The front seats are old leather porsche race style seats. Also has porsche rims. Has no door panels or dash board. It does have the headliner but its torn in a few places. The engine starts and runs good! Transmision may need to be looked at but mainly I think just the shift linkage is loose. The clutch seems to work alright but the throttle can be sticky at times. I've been using this car to do minor running around and its never left me sitting yet! The rear tires have 95% life left and the fronts are about 85%. Has some rust in the normal areas such as under the battery and places like that. All the lights work except the brake and tail lights. All blinkers work. I wired the little square lights in the back to turn on with the key so it has some visibility from the back! The left rear fender has a tear in it. This car has fiberglass door paneling, front lid, and fenders. The paint is flaking off in a few places on the top due to a poor paint job. The engine is the 1600 and has been chromed out. This car is selling with !!!!NO RESERVE!!!! It needs to go! Feel free to ask me any questions you have on it and I will answer as soon as possible! Thanks for looking!
