I bought this car 4 years ago, it was a project my ex husband was going to help me build. He had all the knowledge and I had the capability to fund it.....only now, without the knowledge, I am pretty much stuck, since I dont know much about cars....other than how to drive them :) I can tell you it is a clean (no bondo, rust, rot) 1971 Firebird, and I wish I had the expertise to make this happen...but I dont. When I bought this car, I heard it run, so other than the fact that it needs a battery, I know the engine is operational. This car is in need of quite a bit of work, we started on the body work, as you can see from the photos. There is no rust or body rot to speak of on this car, it is now, and has been stored inside my garage for the last four years. I was told this is not the original engine that came in this car, I was told the engine was rebuilt recently, but I do not know how many miles are on it. If you have specific questions please feel free to ask, and I will do my best to answer or find the answer for you. The drivers door doesnt open, not sure why, it just never has. The registration is current and title is clear. This car is being sold as is, and there is no warranty. I am not going to sell the car for any less than what cash I have invested in the vehicle.
