This is a 1974 Ford F-250, Camper Special in good condition. There is some surface rust, there are some rust spots (pictured) but mechanically the truck appears to be sound (drove from Pittsburgh to Detroit with no problems). No RESERVE! Steering is tight, front end is good, trans does not appear to leak. Newer shocks, brakes, spark plugs and wires, and truck has good tires. No RESERVE! The flaws that I'm aware of are that the odometer and speedometer do not work. The mileage stopped around 63.000, the person I bought it from said he was sure there is over 100K on the truck. The gas gauge started working when I was bringing it to Michigan. I cannot verify how accurate it is or if it will continue to work. The truck was originally fitted with dual tanks, one of the tanks was removed so that the previous owner could put dual exhausts on. The tank is in the back of the truck if the buyer wants to change things back. The interior is good as far as the flooring is concerned. No holes, very solid. The upholstery on the seat is worn out though. No RESERVE! This was bought for my business-and as soon as the purchase was made, the employee it was purchased for left my company. I have no need for the truck. It's a very heavy duty 3/4 ton (8100 GVW, and a one ton of that vintage has an 8700 gvw). There is a class three hitch and a newer electric brake control. No RESERVE! This would be great for a camper or work truck, or just a terrific project for somebody to restore. It looks very solid-I don't think you'll find a 1974 in better condition. No RESERVE! (Did I mention that?)
