Vehicle Detail
Up for sale this week I'm helping a friend without an eBay acct sell his 1979 Ford Bronco Ranger XLT. He's selling this Bronco to help him purchase a house. He purchased this truck from his grandfathwer 6 years ago as he had been driving it the past 10 years for work purposes. It was purchased to restore it to original newer condition as his grandfather was the original owner since the Bronco was New. It should find someone now to do this truck right as it has many of the factory options and as well equipped has very good value in the future. We're looking for that buyer who isn't looking to run the old truck down but give it a new lease on a future, modified or not. It's been well taken car e of , usually protected from bad weather but driven in it also. The mountains in Southern Oregon are all around, but rust isn't an issue as we cinder our roads in Winters. This truck has the original paint still on in the factory two-tone Brown and tan with all the original bodyside mouldings all around. Truck was built in May of 1979. It was ordered to complement a '78 Green one the year before. This one has Power Steering, a power rear window, Air Conditioning ( all there but not used currently), Cruise Control on a Tilt steering column. It has the Bucket seats with Center Console, the fancier dome light with 2 side map lights and the adjustable rear bench seat which is removeable in the rear carpeted compartment. It has the removeable top and in the past few years custom chrome wheels, newer tires and a Kenwood AM/FM CD reciever and aftermarket speakers. We can make the original painted tan wheels available at time of delivery with snow tires mounted. The 400M engine is in good shape as is the C-6 Auto, this isn't a 351 with FMX setup. It smokes a little on startup and uses some oil between oil changes. The radiator is good and has coolant for below zero Winters here. It has a wired Tow package with Class III reciever hitch and a Warn winch front bumper. Doors and tailgate all open and close easily ; no bad hinges or worn parts. The glass is all good; no cracks or scratches and they all roll easily up and down. The wipers are 2 speed plus intermittent setting. The owners manual will explain alot of the option operations as it's included. There are Service records in a folder available to verify the true and actual mileage. Look at all the pictures we've included and questions can be directed to me for more info. If need be I can contact the owner the same day if I can't help sooner. It's as good in Winters with 4-wheel-drive as Summers without, whether it be ski trips or Camping. The short wheelbase makes parking and even off road trails much easier to drive than with our newer longer pickups used today. The truck is currently licensed and driven by other members of the family. This vintage truck is ready sooner or later for a re-do but everything in it is intact and good to go. Be the one to own this truck and make it your next worthy project. Urgent questions call (541) 884-9020 until late night West Coast time. If you want to contact current owner call 541-891-5327. Thanks for Looking and GOOD LUCK BIDDING!!
