For Sale 1999 Hyundai Sonata with 140K miles. About 6 months ago the check engine light came on. I took it to my guy and he said the error was "Piston #1 misfire" he suggested a few things but said that its all trial and error. I kept driving it for a few months despite the check engine light. The car at first had a little less power but drove fine. So now its been sitting for about 3 months. I start the car every 2 weeks, and drive it up and down the driveway. I need money now so you can get this car valued on KBB.com at $1,785 for cheap. I googled this topic and saw lots of suggestions like spark plugs, fuel system cleaner, fuel filter, new fuel injectors, new piston rings. So if you are a mechanic you can definitely make some money here by fixing it up.
