Hello This is a no reserve auction for a 1961 VW Beetle in excellent condition. This car is mostly original and is a 2 owner car, the current owners have owned her for more than 30+ years. The 1200cc engine is a re-build from a 1962 bug and has approx 40,000 miles on it, the car itself has just over 80,000 total miles on the odometer. Still have the original matching numbers engine and will include it for local buyers only that can pick-up. Will also include many spare parts that I have There are a lot of ignition parts, distributor cap, coil/points etc. there are brake parts, shoes and an extra headlight etc. This car has always been garage kept and has been driven lightly for weekend cruises only and has never been driven in winter this bug is in very good shape. Newer exhaust, and brakes done with New upholstery and carpets done about 5 years ago ordered to fit from the USA everything else is original except for the antenna. The last paint job was done 25 years ago and still looks great. There is a little dent on the aluminum on the drivers side running board and that's it. Everything else looks great the interior looks great and has the original radio but does not work. The engine is perfect and runs like a charm. This car is almost 50 years old and is being sold as is. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer I will assist if I can help. The car is located near Whitby Ontario and can be picked up by the buyer or your shipper after full payment has been received. $500 Deposit is required with in 24 hours of the auction and the balance must be received with in 3 days.
