Vehicle Detail

Up for Auction is a Very Rare 1968 Plymouth Sport Fury "COMMANDO" What makes this car so rare in my opionion is that is has the factory bucket seats and center console with the floor shifter. This car originally had the 383 V8 But at some point someone replaced it with a 440 Engine, Currently not running and engine & Automatic Transmission condition Unknown. This Car in my opinion is 98%+ rust free, The only rust on the car is were hood hinge bolts to hood on drivers side is ate through (minor fix), and you can see areas through-out top, under vinyl top were it is bubbling up, but there is no tears in top. Also typical battery pan rust, and very minor surface rust in places were paint peeled and minor floor rust under carpet but I don't believe anything is ate through. Body on Car Very Straight With only a few minor dents & dings, I do not believe the body has any bondo, but not 100% sure, if it does it is minor, but paint is not Original. Car has been in a barn in the country since 1992 and some type of animal scratched the car down the out sides, that is were you see the primer on the sides, to prevent any rusting, Sulfer was placed inside car to prevent rodents and has since been removed. Car is mostly original other than the engine and the wheels, which I have three factory hubcaps and both fender skirts. Air Breather in Trunk. Car has factory A/C. Working Condition Unknown. Interior is overall in great shape other than drivers seat torn pretty bad down the left side, the dash of course is cracked up/faded as well as rear speaker panel in back window. Back seat is in great shape other than 2 small tears on top of seat. Headliner not orginal and holding up by tacks. All door panels and side panels seem to be in excellent condition. Both doors open and close like new, very tight. All Glass in Great Shape except front glass has 1 crack across the lower/bottom about 2ft. This is a great Car to restore & very rare find so don't miss out on your chance to own this great classic car. This Car is being Sold AS-IS WHERE-IS, No Warranty Expressed or Implied. Though I Try to describe car accurately, winning bidder accepts this description as-is, without recourse or refund.
