Up for auction is a very unique 1970 Boss 302 Mustang that has been stored in a heated museum since 1985. The car was donated here in Colorado to the Museum of Transportation on October 10, 1985. In the 15 years of service, the car was painted a metallic brown with custom gold Boss stripes. The steering wheel was changed as were the wheels. A few aftermarket items were added to the original numbers matching engine. Other than that, it is a complete, and almost rust free, numbers matching (DOZE6015-B) Boss 302 Mustang with 86k original unrestored miles. A Marti report shows the car was built November 25, 1969 with Lime Metallic Paint, Ford #3075-A, White Rhino,Corinthian Vinyl Bucket Seats, 3.50 Standard Axle Ratio, Four Speed Wide Ratio Manual Transmission, F60x15 Belted Tires w/ Raised White Letters, Sport Rear Deck Seat, and AM/FM Stereo Radio. We fogged each cylinder and spun the engine to pre-lube. We added fresh gas and cranked it over. To our amazement, the engine fired up and ran very well! Remember, the car has not been driven for some time. Many systems should be checked before it is ready for the road. No other parts come with the car. This is a completely numbers matching car. By this I mean, the VIN on the title matches the one on the windshield, the one on the inside driver side fender, and the one on the engine block.
