Selling a 1970 70 390 go pack with auto. I would suggest looking at all the available amx's then come see this one and it won't dissapoint. Restored a few years back, but still looks almost new. The 390 engine has been rebuilt in the last few years, the tranny did not need rebuilt but we had it done last year with less than 150 miles on tranny. Both engine and tranny are original. On the passenger valve cover has the original Valve cover I.D. tag 208X04 which breaks it down to. 2 - 1969 build date for the ENGINE 08 - month of August X- 1970 390 04 - 4th day of the week. It has working ac, heater, functioning rams air. (Note the ram air is all oem not aftermarket which is rare to find on these cars) low fuel warning rimblow steering wheel NICE. Milage shows under 15,000 miles true milage is only 115,000 miles. When the car was done new carpet, and door panels (lengendary) seats were in such good shape for being the original seats we left them alone. The car was originally a green car but the blue looks so much better. I have the original 3:15 gears in a box. Now there is 3:73 installed. This is a nice rust free unmolested car. Clock, speedo, tach fuel gauge and low warning light all work perfect. This is one of the highest optioned amx that was available even has the passenger rear mirror very rare. It has after market nice stereo but I do have the original stero and original rims and tires. Out of all my 6 amx's this is as far as stock is the top for the stock catagory. I did not drive this car much, This was purchased as an investment car, I am more into my performace cars and those are the one's I like to drive. Do to things in life I have to get rid of a couple toy's. I also have a 800 horse power 1969 amx with a 671 blower on a 401 built to the hilt I might be listing as well.. (I also have a full str11 cross ram with the nos carbs / linkage for 69 390, also have a top of the cross ram str 11NOS for 70 and up I might be listing as well.) This car Drives as good as it looks (solid car) I have over $35,000 in this car, and is insured for $40,000 I bought it when the market was at its top so I have readjusted the price for todays economy and muscle car market. Hemmings says the AMX is one of the Top 10 Muscle Investment cars. Get into this very Rare Low production car. There were 4,116 AMX's This one . This car is rare!!!! car looks right has all the options, and is a quality investment vehicle. one of 1,632 with the 390 Engine and Auto. Consider the small amount say compared to a 1969 Camaro total of 243,085 built in 1970 and who ever gets this is getting a great deal.
