WOW, take a look at this Super Clean 1968 Ford Mustang! Originally a 6-cylinder, it has been converted to a V8 with an Automatic transmission. It features an older restoration and has shiny paint, decent tires and starts, runs, and drives fine. Look at the pictures carefully, as you are considering a car that is over 30 years old.
We are Kia-Mazda of Old Saybrook, a new and pre-owned dealer that specializes in all makes and models! We recently tool this vehicle in trade from it's owner of more than 10 years! He was driving the car about 45 miles each way to work, every day! It is a clean, roadworthy car that is ready to go to it's next owner.
Take it apart for a full restoration, or simply drive it as-is: the choice is yours! If smiles were worth dollars, we are sure it's worth more than what you will pay!
Condition: While we are not experts in vintage Mustangs, here is what we have found: Visually, this is a 30+ year old car. It has been repainted, and most surfaces are shiny. The exterior does reveal rust down low on the driver's side and around the taillight panel. A look underneath reveals a minor hole in the driver's floor and some rot on the right front subframe (easily repairable with some sheet steel). It is pretty clean unerneath, though of course you expect minor oil leaks from a car of this age. It statrs, runs, drives and stops as you would expect of a 30+ year old car over 100K, but do not be scared...it's a great start or toy!
As stated earlier, our cutomer was driving this car on a 45-mile commute...so it has been a roadworthy vehicle. Please look at the pictures very carefully and bid accordingly! Because of it's age and mileage, of course we are selling it “as-is” with no warranty.
