This is a 1986 Mercedes 560sel with 77,964 miles since new. It is a two owner car, originally purchased by an Italian gentleman and his wife. They only ever drove it in good weather, never in the rain/snow/etc. It is in good mechanical condition. We have maintained it meticulously, in the 3,000 miles we've driven it since we purchased it in 2005. This is one of the finest examples of the classic W126 S-class Mercedes-Benz, and need I mention, the last of the Mercedes when they used to build their cars and then price them. Not make a price range and build a car to suit, as they do now. The interior is like new, no rips/tears/stains/etc. The car has never been smoked in, nor does it have any odors. The beautiful burled wood in the interior is like new as well. The chrome on the outside of the car is also like new. The paint is a 9-9.5 out of 10 in my opinion (the only problems are a small scrape on the front bumper, as well as very minor scuffing along the passenger side of the rear bumper, and a very small dent [that is nearly impossible to see unless you're looking for it] underneath the passenger side tail light). The undercarriage of this car is in the same condition as the top, no rust, no dents, leaking fluids of any kind, and is very clean due to the car's low miles. This car will last it's next caretaker many, many years to come. Our previous W126 560sel is back at our house in Southern California with just over 230,000 miles. We did not use this as a daily driver, only in good weather, and only as a backup when one of our other cars was in the shop. Since we've owned it, we have changed all of the fluids, replaced the thermostat, the tires, the shocks and springs, the front control arms, the engine temperature sensor, the starter, the spark plugs, the fuel filter, and all of the brake pads and rotors. It is ready to drive away, or be delivered. There is a $500 deposit required within 48 hours, and full payment is due within 7 days. We will not sell this car outside of the USA.
