1971 Mercedes-Benz 280 SE 2.8 straight 6 engine. The Odometer shows 17898 miles, but from the oil change doucumentation on the door, appears the engine has turned over. So it has around 118000 miles. This is a solid car to drive or would make an easy restoration without a whole lot more to do. Body is in very good shape with a solid undercarriage. The paint is not perfect, but good shape for a 71, does havea couple of rust spots. Chrome: In good condition. Interior: The interior is in good condition. Do not notice any cuts or tears in the seat upolstery. Carpet is in excellent condition, has extra floor mat for drivers side. Dashboard has a few splits in material, also has a hole about the size of a dime, as shown in picture. Comes with a removeable front dash cover. Stiff map holders on inside of each front door. Clock. Blanpunkt cassette radio. A.C. and power windows. Engine runs great! Brakes need some work, they are not the best!
