LOWER RESERVE PRICE Custom 1966 Land Cruiser Fj40. Frame off restoration and built bullet proof. Nice and fully functioning 4x4 with high and low gear settings with warn manual hubs. Lifted with brand new wheels and tires. The Odometer reads 95,453. 383 Stroker with a gear drive. The stroker has less then a 1,000 miles on it. 4 speed manual with warn overdrive. So you have two main gear shift levers one is the 4 primary gears and the other is for the Warn Overdrive. The overdrive gives you about 500 RPM variance, so you can really keep the RPM's at a perfect level for whatever you are doing. This 66 will cruise the freeway at 70 at or crawl rocks at a total creep, whatever you want. Then you have the two 4 wheel drive box levers, one engages the unit in or out like 4 wheel on or off and the other lever is for 4 hi or 4 low. So in all you have 16 forward gear options and 4 reverse. Lockers. Color changing blues paint, even the block is painted to match calipers hub rings and more. True metal half doors painted to match as well as full doors painted to match with windows and hardware. The engine is chrome and stainless everywhere. The exterior is new stainless hardware and chrome diamond plate everywhere. The interior is Rhino lined Gray which looks great and looks clean and keeps functionality. All original steel body with no rust. Chrome adjustable shocks. Custom suede bucket seats. Has one flip down rear seat in the bench format. Rear tailgate is the awesome barn door style so it has to two swing open doors. Really cool older warn winch on the front that works great. She runs like a champ and is a true head turner that everyone loves. People ask if it has a super charger all the time because of how good it sounds running with the pipes and gear drive. Makes me laugh, you don't need it with as much power as this motor puts out. With the power steering and tilt steering column and with the many gear options thanks to the warn overdrive this Land Cruiser is rare and fun to drive. Not to mention I do have the original CA BLACK PLATES for this CA owned Fj40. She not only looks cool and sounds cool but runs very cool thanks to the electric fan and aluminum radiator. I kid you not this rig is going to make someone very happy and a CA smog exempt model too. I do have the hard top as well but it still needs restoration. I am happy to answer any questions you might have. Please also note this Land Cruiser is for sale locally as well and I reserve the right to sell it anytime. So here is a quick break down that I hope will help everyone realize how built and rare this cruiser really is. The 383 is powered with a rare Turbo 202 head that was only produced for two years in the late 60's for performance Corvettes and Camaro'. These heads are really rare and have the bolt holes for additional options paired with roller rockers. The cam is a Comp Cam 292 with a 525 lift. The gear drive is an awesome Pete Jackson set up. Edelbrock performance cam and 4 barrel carb. Eagle Steel crank with 9.25 compression. High flow Holley fuel pump set at 7 lbs. Zoops Billet Belt System. Edelbrock high flow water pump. On and and on. The motor is built and running at 425 HORSEPOWER. You wanna talk about a power and great sounding and over all running monster of a cruiser here it is.
