I am selling my trusty Civic DX hatchback that I bought new and have been using almost every day for the last 11 years. It has been a great run. Never had a problem with this car. In fact I would never buy another brand of a car except of Honda had it not been for my wife's preference for German cars. This little Honda runs great. Amazingly, it has not lost any of its power over the years. The engine revs up the same way as when I pulled out of the Honda dealership lot 11 years ago. It doesn't leak oil. Transmission shifts fine. The clutch was replaced by a Honda dealer about 12k miles ago at a cost of $1300. A new muffler was installed about 3 months ago. All this car requires every week is gas. Not a lot of it either. It easily gets 45 miles to a gallon. On long trips I have gotten over 50 MPG. The bad things: The immediate reason I am selling this car is that last week, when the car was parked in Newark, some idiot took a hammer or something and punched holes through the skin of the car on the right side of the car, cracked the rear right light and put a chip in the windshield. I don't have the time to visit body shops, get pricing etc. I will let the new owner get this car fixed. I am ready for a new vehicle myself. The SRS light is on all the time. It came on years ago when I was replacing a fuse. I never bothered to have it checked. This car has both airbags. They were never deployed. This car is being sold as local pickup only. No shipping.
