This is a decent 1955 Buick Special 41 4 door sedan. I bought the car for the engine and transmission for my Buick hardtop and really do not need the rest of the car. It would be great as a parts car, or it could be brought back with a more modern engine if desired. Some of the details: The body is pretty solid with rust areas at lower rear of the front fenders, but not much. Three of the doors have rust through on the very bottoms, but repairable. The quarter panels are surprisingly solid and might not even need any patching. The trunk floor and deck lid are solid as well. The hood does have some rust areas on the underside but outside is fine. Inner fenders are fine. The front floorboards have a couple of holes, but small repaire would fix. The frame is solid as well. The interior actually is not that bad, no headliner and carpet needs to be replaced. The dash is pretty nice and complete, except no radio. The steering wheel is good and chrome would probably clean up good. There is only one piece of stainless trim that is missing, on the passenger front fender. The rest is quite nice and shiney with very few dents or marks. The rear bumper is good with a couple of lower dents that could be straightened, but the front bumper pieces do have rustout on them. Grill is solid but would need to be replated as would the hood lip. All in all not bad for parts or even to make into a driver with a modern drivetrain. If no one is interested, I will probably take off some parts and deliver to the scrapyard, which would be a shame. I do not have a title for this car.
