Vehicle Detail
This is a good looking car that could be used as a daily driver. It's a rare Mustang with the Police Package without some of the funky paint jobs that usually come with SSP vehicles. Also, please, don't click the buy it now if you're not going to pay. Sorry for the inconvenience to those that are honest and genuinely interested in this vehicle. Make an offer, all reasonable offers will be considered. For Sale a rare 1993 SSP Coupe used by the Georgia State Patrol and Clayton County, Georgia Police. Update: I love the following with these vehicles. SSP people are the most dedicated and knowledgeable group I have ever come across. The vehicle was purchased by the GSP. Clayton County purchased the vehicle and used in undercover operations, painting the car navy blue. Clayton County Police added the white letter Goodyears, a rear spoiler (which I still have), and tinted the windows in hopes of "blending in". Thanks to the contributors who follow and love these special vehicles for providing more information than I was originally able to provide. Vehicle has the GSP emergency light certification sticker and other paperwork to confirm it's police use. DSO Police "buck tag" is in place and the paperwork indicates that this is vehicle #119 for the 1993 GSP Mustangs. The odometer was replaced at 109,824 miles and the new odometer reads just over 3000 miles. It is a correct odo change and is the correct 160mph speedo found on SSP models. The vehicle served as an undercover car and the blue lights were added in the bumper. The siren and lights have been disconnected and are only mounted for show. The vehicle still has it's original radio mount and cable, though it was removed when sold. The car still has its original Severe Service Manual and state inspection form from 9/22/93. I don't really want to sell the vehicle but in these times I have to sell one or both of my collector cars (the other is 93 Mustang Triple White Feature that is on consignment at Streetside Classics in Atlanta). But sadly one or both have to go. Car runs great with no issues. The paint is in pretty good condition, no major dents or scratches, and is original to the vehicle as it served. I have on order a full set of Georgia State Patrol door, fender, and decklid markings that are static cling to give the car an extra edge at shows. They are removable so the vehicle is still good for everyday use. The blue lights are bolted in the original housing but are easy to remove to keep the car street legal. I had thoughts at one time of restoring the vehicle to the typical silver and blue of the GSP but the consensus was to leave the car as it served and preserve its history and service. The vehicle never had a typical light bar on the roof so there are no holes and it was never equipped with a radar gun so there are no holes in the dash either. As far as LX Coupes go, I know that black is a hard to find interior color and the interior of this car is in great shape. There is light wear on the driver seat, detailed in the photos below. Please feel free to ask any questions or if you would like to see closeups or specific photos I will be more than happy to provide them. Car has a clear title and I'm ready to sell. Got to take care of family first. Thanks...
