This is a like new 1979 automatic 280zx with just over 84,000 original miles. Car was garage kept its whole life until 7/23/10. Vehicle was impeccably maintained every 3000 miles whether it was driven or not. Interior is in perfect condition. Everyhting works like new. Air conditioner runs like ice cold. All meters and gauges work like new and are perfect. Pop out stereo with cd. Dash board has no cracks or blemishes whatsoever and is like brand new. Interior in like new condition with a small tear on driver seat upper leftside. Exterior has slight imperfection on rear hatchback where there was a bike rack. It is easily repairable. Exterior is all original paint with no rust or damage. The engine is like new. Car runs great. Starts right up. Idles at perfect RPM like new. No smells of oil or gas at all. Smells like a new car still. I am a collector of this model car over the past 30 years. I have had four of them over the years. I am the second owner of this vehicle and know its complete history. This vehicle is the best one I have seen in LONG TIME. It is ready to drive local or long distances. You will have no troubles with this vehicle. All you need to do is put oil and gas and it will likely go for hundreds of thousands of miles.Especially if your a good driver and take care of it. I DO NOT really want to sell this vehicle, but I have no longer a garage space for it and it deserves the best home possible. I have original key and manual also. On Oct-03-10 at 12:28:09 PDT, seller added the following information: This vehicle has been garaged its entire life until 7/23/10. I lost the garage space and want the car to go to a good home. It has been driven only 30-40 miles monthly since then. last long drive was from LA to San Francisco and back non stop like 800 miles with air condition running, no problems whatsoever. The reason I am now saying this is because. since July I believe the car may be in the beginning stages of needing a new ignition or a component of ignition. May even be a loose wire. The car usually starts right up on first crank after sitting for weeks and runs without any troubles for as long as it is running, then after about 20 miles and you shut engine off, it needs to crank 10 or 20 times to restart. Or after it rests for an hour starts right up again. All voltage meters and alternator gauges and new battery are correct and gauges accurately show that always. It always cranks full power to start whether it starts on first crank or 10th crank. When the car does need to crank more than once to start, the ignition will click twice then it starts right up without cranking at all. Its a very simple problem I believe and any z car expert thats honest will find it. This issue occurs 20%of the time. 80% of the time the car starts right up on first turn even when sitting for a week and runs perfectly. I was told it could be as simple as the cold start fuel injector needing replacement for those of you that know this car. That is a very inexpensive repair and typical to replace every 10 years. The front seats could use a detailing/cleaning only and the interior otherwise is like brand new. This is a very honest and accurate description of the rare issue that needs resolution.
