Vehicle Detail
This Honda 200M is in good condition. Get it in time for hunting season. It will get you there and back and can hold its own in all types of terrain. Without a rider it can actually float while running to cross bodies of water too deep to ride in. It has a 5 speed transmission with automatic clutch, electric start and includes the complete factory tool kit, owners manual, shop manual and a spare spark plug. It comes with one original factory key and 2 copies. It runs perfect and usually starts on the 2nd or 3rd pull in any weather. The battery is dead but the electric start works perfect too. It shifts through all gears just like new. In fact it runs exactly like it did when I bought it in 1986. Front and rear brakes work fine, the headlight works on high and low. It does not leak and burn any oil. The gas tank appears to have no rust inside. It has never had ethanol gas in it but will if I have to fill it again as Pennsylvania just banned good gas as of October I think. I have always used the premium gas. It has never been apart or had any repairs other than 1 tire, rear brakes and a chain. History: I am the second owner. It was delivered new on 4/17/1986 and I have the original receipt. I bought it a few months later in 1986 and have owned it ever since. It has always been garage or barn kept and in almost completely original. The only things not original are the hitch which I added in 1986 to pull a little yard wagon around, one tire, the rear brake shoes and the chain. Back when I bought it, one tire had a large puncture and always leaked a little around the plug. It was never enough to really irritate me. At age 16, I actually believed fix-a-flat did something so I added it. I think that caused the problem I ran into this year, 24 years later. That tire and only that tire started cracking up and deteriorating badly. I bought a new, made in the USA, Carlisle tire and put it on, see pics. It has less than a mile on it. The rear brakes didn’t wear out, the wear material fell off of the metal shoes and one day it just had no brakes. I used it for over 10 years without and just put them on to sell. They have less than 2 miles on them. The chain had stretched I guess and the tensioner just couldn’t take out all the slack so I replaced that too, less then 2 miles ago. The good: It runs and operates just like it did when I bought it in 1986, like a Honda. It really hasn't been used that much in its life. It is mostly original, even the seat has no tears or holes. The 2 original tires are in good shape both tread and aging are minimal. I am having a hard time parting with this old friend and am just doing so because my father sold me his old 4x4 4-wheeler and I just don’t need 2 atvs taking up space in my garage and barely getting used. I tried to sell it once before and when the buyer showed up, I talked him out of buying it. I promise the winner here gets it. The bad: The battery is dead. I got tired of replacing it years ago and it starts so easily, I just pull started it. One time in 1986 it was stolen for about 30-45 minutes. I rode it to a neighboring farm where I worked in the summer and that day a local retard was hired to unload hay. He took it without permission for a joy ride and cracked one fender (see pic), creased the other fender (see pic), and slightly bent the front edge of one foot peg (see pic). It didn’t hurt any function and it has been that way ever since, 24 years. It was the only time anyone rode it besides me. There is some surface rust all over but nothing eaten away (see pics). The rear chrome (wheelie bar?) or whatever it is called has a ding and is slightly bent and was that way when I purchased it in 1986. The gas tank has a small dent in the back left near the seat and the stickers on the gas tank is damaged/worn (see pic). Back then they had no titles and I never titled it later. You can if you like but it currently has no title. This 3 wheeler sells AS IS and there is no reserve. Please don't ask. I don't care if you NEED it this week, it isn't fair to the other bidders. I have tried to tell all I know and my feedback reflects my honesty. If you have questions, please ask or come take a look. I require a $100 paypal payment within 24 hours and the balance is expected in cash when you pick up unless you cannot pick up for 14 days. Mail a payment if you need a later pickup, something other than a personal check and when it clears, you can pick up. I will hold for up to 30 days unless we agree to something before you win. When you win, your money is spent. It is my money now and you own a 3 wheeler. I don't want any excuses after you win that you needed to spend my money on something else. That is not how it works. Please be respectful of my auction. It costs a lot to list on ebay and takes a lot of effort and time. Remember you can always buy someone else’s item if you cannot live with my terms.
