OK, i have a real barn find. i bought this 67 dart gt along with other stuff from an estate. this car did not see light of day since 1983, [stickers still on windshield]. this is an original family owned car they bought new!! the gentleman that passed away bought this from his dad in 1970. i have every registration dating back from 83 to 70 when he got it from his dad and i have dealer plaque with his dads name on it from 67. this is a running/driving car! even though they did'nt drive it he maintained it! i brought it home put fresh gas, a battery in it and drove it around the block. it is from what i see [i'm not a pro, or mopar guy] but it is an original matching numbers, unmolested car. the only change to car is it was red until 1976 then it was painted green. that's the story. CAR DETAILS:273 gt car. runs perfect. shifts perfect. [all fluids we're amazing]body is near perfect. straightest car i've ever owned. we can't find an ounce of filler. daughter of owner says it never was in accident, or banged, nothing! doors look and close perfect!paint has typical scratches and has that lacquer chex.everything is there, every trim piece etc.absolutely everything on this car works perfect! every option, light bulb everything! rockers, doors, jams perfect! EXTERIOR FLAWS: TRUNK HAS A FEW TINY PIN HOLES IN IT.FRAME IS SWEET EXCEPT 1 SPOT ON PASSENGER RAIL RIGHT BEHIND TIRE THERE IS A HOLE APPROX 4" LONG. [EZ FIX] INTERIOR: I'D SAY 7 OUT OF 10. CARPET IS RIPPED ON PASS. SIDE. IT HAS 1 SMALL TEAR ON TOP OF DRIVERS SEAT [IN PIC] BUT SEAM JUST SPLIT EZ FIX. DASH IS MINT. OTHER THAN THAN JUST NEEDS GOOD DETAIL/POLISH. SHE HAS A TON OF ALUM. TRIM. what we are doing right now is cleaning gas tank for fresh gas, changing all fluid [just because] replacing whatever brakes need it. and installing the 'mopar' factory exhaust that was in original boxes in trunk. THIS IS A NEAR PERFECT NOSTALGIC TIME CAPSULE THAT I'M MAKING COMPLETELY ROAD WORTHY FOR NEXT OWNER. I TOOK A HAMMER AND A SCREWDRIVER TO THE FRAME FROM HEAD TO TOE EVERYWHERE. I BANGED AND STABBED IT WAS SOLID! EXCEPT FOR THE AREA I MENTIONED YESTERDAY AND ADDED PIC WITH MEASURING TAPE. THERE WAS ONE MORE SPOT WAY UP BY THE FRONT WHEEL THAT COULD BE FOUND UP IN AIR [PIC ADDED] OTHER THAN THOSE TWO THAT IS ALL. I HAD MANY FRAME QUESTIONS MAINLY BY TORSION BAR AREA, RADIATOR SUPPORT, ROCKERS, THESE AREAS WHERE GREAT! HOPE PICS HELP. AGAIN THE TWO AREAS ARE EASY FIXES.
