Up for sale a well maintained 1997 Subaru Legacy Wagon automatic - Brighton version. I bought the car 2 years ago (when my wife's original car was damaged) from a friend of mine. She used it for ~6 months as a daily commuter than the car was used very rarely and it has been sitting in the garage. The overall condition of the car is very good - I took it for a spin and oil change - drives with no issues - just like when we bought it. It has pretty new tires - they were installed off my impreza so they are 15', not 14'. Front and rear bumper are scuffed a bit as seen in pictures, the rest of the body is in a nice shape with very minor rust spots by the rear right wheel. Small touch up job should take care of it. The engine sounds absolutely fine, no visible leaks or issues. The driver's entry lock was replaced and there is another key for that door, everything else is under the ignition key. There is also a cut on the passenger seat - The lock and the cut came from a GPS thief. The glass and lock were replaced, cut on the passenger seat is still there. There were no other damages to the car. These cars last forever and this one has really decent mileage left on it. It is AWD - great winter ride for the money. The car is still registered and insured - I can deliver the car in the tri-state area for $2 a mile but only on the weekend and of course local pick up/meet up are the most welcome versions. I'll not arrange shipping to other states - if you win this auction and it is too far to drive - you need to take care of everything. The most preferable methond of payment is cash or paypal. On Nov-14-10 at 14:53:05 PST, seller added the following information: The rust spot by the rear right wheel - it is not a sign of corossion, There were a few scratches that over the time rusted a bit - again, nothing major - touch up will fix it. The body has no sign of rust anywhere. The vehicle has a NJ inspection up to 10/2011. No issues passing the inspection.
